The Amazing Charles(2025)

The Amazing Charles (2025), is a one minute short film I made during my junior year at SVA. The story follows a clown creature who finds it difficult to be the only one of his kind in a human world. The film got a lot of attention on social media and I’m glad this silly little film was able to give people a chuckle and something to relate to!

The Original Boards:

The story was originally thirty seconds longer and had a slightly more complete ending! Due to the course requirements, I ultimately chose to give the scenes more breathing room and cut it to a minute with a shorter ending than keeping it longer and more rushed. However, it is fun to see how the film could have come out!
